How to Change Xhorse XM38 Smart Key Baudrate?

 Problem: 

I cannot change Xhorse XM38 smart key frequency from 433mhz to 312Mhz. vvdi mini key tool gave error “Baudrate change should from -10mhz to 10mhz compare with original”. I did baud rate change but error is the same.

Solution:

Follow this way to change frequency, Go to Special function—->vvdi remote function —-> Toyota smart key settings

How to Change Xhorse Toyota XM38 Smart Key Frequency?

Need to change both (frequency and baudrate) if you have 312.4 for 1 and 433 for the other it’s 2 big if a gap so make all 4 buttons the same 312.420.

Xhorse XM38 Proximity Emergency Start Not Working Solution

 Problem: I was able to use VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad + Toyota 8A AKL Adapter to read out immo data, and succeed in generating a XM38 Smart Key. But this key is unable to emergency start the car. Any ideas?

Solution

Please noted to generate XM38 to corresponding VIN of smart card before Toyota 8A all keys lost programming.

Eg.

2020 Toyota Camry – 0010 version smart card

2015 Lexus – 2110 version smart card.

(Please ask for the professional if you don’t know the version)

Steps

1. Generate to the corresponding version of smart card;
2. Generate emergency key with immo data.

Xhorse Toyota XM38 Smart Key Calculate Failed?

 Question:

I try to generate Toyota Camry 8A proximity (P4 A9) with the new Xhorse XM38 smart key and key tool max. It failed me. Anyone can help me with the calculation failed error code 9B?

Solution:

The error means your XM38 proximity cannot match your device version.

You properly got the Chinese version XM38 key but your device is the Global version.
