Cannot Generate Xhorse XKGHG1EN Garage Remote Solution

Problem:

I had a problem generating XKGHG1EN Garage Remote with xhorse vvdi key tool max pro. It fails me and asks me to put in X/XN wireless or XT superchip remote. Any idea?

Solution:

1. Don’t install battery when generating remote.

2. Xhorse XKGHG1EN Garage Remote is wire remote, and cannot put in directly into the conduction coil. Need to connect garage remote with key tool max pro via remote programmer cable.

 If cannot generate GM 7937 transponder with xhorse vvdi mini key tool and super chip xt27. Here is the solution.

Go under id46 (PCF7936), then select 46-GM

It’s under 7936, it will say E or Extended. but it does work.

How to Cut Toyota TOY43 Key with Xhorse Condor 2?

 There’s one more way to decode a key on Xhorse Condor XC-Mini Plus II key cutting machine: that’s through Universal Key Duplication. It does copy the key exactly. This can be used as an alternative method once all keys lost or cut by bitting was unsupported.

Today we’re going to use a TOY43 as demonstration, this key does not have a shoulder.

Universal key duplication >> Standard double-sided key >> Tip align >> M5-A clamp

It’s suggested to use M5 clamp side A, and put it to the third line.

We’ll just pop the blade in, make sure it’s nice and straight to that third line.

Press “Decode key”.

Condor Mini Plus 2 starts decoding automatically…

Universal key decode success.

It’s looking pretty spot-on. This key is actually in good condition, so doing it this way will quite well. However, if you can do the all keys lost or cut by bitting method, it’s more highly recommended.

We’ve got a blank key, so we can continue to put in the same position and start cutting.

How to Change Xhorse XKGHG1EN Garage Remote Frequency?

There are many different brands of remote in the aftermarket, different manufacturers maybe with different frequency.

If the original remote and xhorse garage remote frequency is different, it may cause remote cloning to fail, or even remote cloning successfully but the working distance too short, working not good.

How to Change Xhorse Garage Remote Frequency?

1. Set frequency operation
Enter Set frequency mode
Press and hold the “”Lock” and “Pause” buttons at the same time, remote LED goes on, keep pressing two buttons until the remote LED goes off, then release the buttons.

2. Set frequency
Press the “Up” button, press once, LED flash once, for the different frequencies with different press times, refer to the following frequency reference table.

3. Double check frequency
After set frequency successfully, release all buttons, wait for 5 seconds, remote LED will flash, the flashing times depends on set frequency

4. Exit set frequency mode
After remote LED stop flashing, press the “Lock” and “Pause” buttons immediately, meanwhile the LED goes on, keep pressing 2 buttons until LED goes off.
Then release the button, set frequency operation completed
