Xhorse No Available to Exchange Points to MB Tokens Solution

 Problem:

I need to exchange VVDI BE key points to mb online calculation tokens in xhorse app. I have a vvdi key tool plus.  I want to Bonus points->Tokens, after pressing + button, it won’t let me exchange, it says no available items for exchange. Any clue?

Don’t need to exchange points to tokens in xhorse app.

VVDI key tool plus will deduct points directly if tokens run out.

 

MB tokens deduction order:

Unlimited tokens >free tokens (combined with xhorse condor/dolphin) > paid tokens > VVDI BE key points > Universal remote points

How to Solve VVDI Key Tool Plus Benz W639 All Keys Lost Car Not Start

 Here comes the problem: A Mercedes W639 with all keys lost. Around 2005. Customer removed the EIS and brought it to me, because the keys are lost. Read the EIS on bench and prepared key file to write the key as key number 4 using xhorse vvdi key tool plus. Information of EIS says (left side on pic.) That it is not activated, personalized etc. My key is opening the doors, and unlocking ELV but the car is not running. See pictures. What’s the next step for me? Key info’s shown in the picture.

Possible reason:

The problem was probably caused by key tool plus when reading the EIS with adapter. Data was incomplete on keytool plus and different when read from car directly.

 

SOLUTION:
1. Read EIS via IR with installed EIS on CAR.
This time, EIS was activated and VIN was written.
2. Prepared key file with no password inserted first.
3. Manually typed the Password, which i read on bench before which was correct.
4.Written key with new key files.
5. Car runs, all works fine.
6. Additionally changed from yellow VVDI BE key PCB to green PCB. Not sure, if this was necessary.

How to Secure VVDI Super Chip in Xhorse Remote?

 There are many methods to secure xhorse vvdi super chip in universal remotes.

 

1).

Using adhesive lined heat shrink. For example, this particular car was a 18 camary all keys lost. oem flip key. The user cloned super chip from a new H key. Generated remote. Use IM608 to learn key then remote. All working good.

Super glue works just fine too.  But sometimes will stuck cap etc messy and many times have to open a new tube for every Job. Gets annoying and messy.

I use hot glue, and position it into the tip of the flip key. Some of the remotes have a small LED you might be covering.

 

3). some use silicone

 

4).

I use glue stick for glue guns but just use my lighter to melt the glue. No need a glue gun or wait time to warm up etc. takes literally 10secs to drop some glue on it and done.

5).

just buy super remotes they have built in super chip.

NOTE: XHorse makes several versions of Toyota look alike keys, but they don’t have chips. It’s not like the Ford style where you get to choose with or without chip.

How to Fix VVDI2 Cannot Read Kline VW Polo Golf4

 Here comes the DIY solution to xhorse vvdi2 unable to read VW K-line dash problem.

Unable to read k-line polo, golf4 VDO dash but able to read Sharan k-line edc15 ECU but unable to learn keys to the very same car (can’t connect to immobox or similar error).  Took apart but there is no burnings.

It was id44. Separated immobox behind the odo with edc15. Pin from ecu, precode 7935 to VAG id44 and learn thru channel 25.

 

DIY Solution:

The vvdi2 is working again. Here is the solution

After disassembled the vvdi you MUST be extremely careful with the big yellow backup battery pins!! If you connect them the DALLAS (security chip) will be deleted immediately and you have to send back to china to reprogramming. There is no other way to repair!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

1: Remove the cable from the vvdi and check the connection with multimeter. This two pins on the first picture must be connected

2: Disassembly the vvdi2 vag and attach the cable to the vvdi and check with multimeter the connection between the obd plug pin #7 and the marked pin on the pic

3: There is a MOSFET relay which is switching the port. Check for burning marks Here is the datasheet

4: On the third picture there is a multiplexer. Because only one kline driver working in the vvdi2 if any other pin using the kline somehow able to switch to pins. This multiplexer doing this. Here is the datasheet Mosfet pin #4 connected to ADC1606 pin #22

5: UART to Kline bus driver. This device is “translate” between the car kline network and the vvdi2 MCU. Here is the datasheet ADC1606 pin #28 connected to KLine driver pin #6

You can’t really test the switching components. The only sure way when you replace them. You can replace the mosfet from any other neighboring one, but the multiplexer isn’t available for me thus i skipped that part. Instead of i replaced the Kline bus driver, after the change my vvdi is able to communicate on kline again.
