Tips to Generate Toyota RAV4 2015 8A KeylessGo via Xhorse XM38

Here comes the customer feedback:

Programming spare to a North American 2015 RAV4 (8A keylessgo smart key), key immediately programs for all functions for remote and proximity, but trunk does not function on the xhorse xm38 smart key.

Generate key via this option.
RAV4(14-19) KeylessGo 8A 312.10-314.35

Problem with using Toyota Smart Key Settings for the smart access/smart start.

Use VVDI Smart Key Customization only, change Trunk setting to 0A, if you make the mistake of using Toyota Smart Key Customization, you need to regenerate the Toyota Smart Key protocol. Customize the Trunk button settings, erase keys from the vehicle and reprogram it. If not the remote function will be available but the proximity will not work.

Program 2021 Toyota Hilux All Keys Lost by Xhorse 8A AKL Cable

 User feedback: 2021 Toyota Hilux 2gd-ftv all keys lost is done. Chip H 8A. Use xhorse vvdi key tool max, mini obd tool and 8a control box cable (bundle kit).

This is a Hilux made in Thailand and sold in Latin America.

I have done American and Japanese Rav4, Tacoma, Prado, Corolla Fortuner.
With the new immobox with fewer pins it can’t be done yet.
clear with the normal box 8H 8A is simple with akl kit, the new immobox can only be done with TIS techstream.

How to Solve Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Benz W164 EIS No Voltage

One customer gave feedback that his Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad was not voltage when reading Mercedes-Benz W164 EIS on bench. He was using a XDKP30 Multi Function Adapter to connect Benz EZS/EIS Adapter and Key Tool Plus.

Is this the right connection? Please help.

Solution

1. Please check if the Cable Connection is all correct.
2. Please check if the Select Path is correct.

* DO NOT connect to 12V voltage if the wiring diagram is not marked.

Select path:

Prog >> IMMO >> BENZ >> EIS

• Read Benz EIS on car(by OBD)

Select path:

Immo programming >> Benz >> Select from system >> EIS Tools

From the images provided, we found the customer had selected the wrong path for OBD method. Simply re-select to correct path, the problem can be solved!

Xhorse VVDI MB Tool Failed Error 3?

Problem:

My xhorse vvdi mb tool gave me failed error 3 when during data acquisition procedure. Error image attached. Any solution?

The SSID has successfully calculated the password in the last 12 hours. Use “Query result” function to get password and then write key.
