 We had a customer whose xhorse key tool plus pad every function selected was not responding. The problem was settled after a factory reset and update via Hotspot.

Select the “cloud” icon on the right top of the function you desired

Home menu

Reset options

System

Choose Setting.

Then run an upgrade via Hotspot.

How to Cut Hon66 Laser Key by Xhorse Dolphin XP-005?

 Today I’m gonna show how to use Xhorse Dolphin XP005 + VVDI Key Tool Max to copy a HON66 laser key.

Prepare a Honda original key & a new key blank.

Connect Key Tool Max with Dolphin XP005 via Bluetooth to smart control.

Vehicle database >> Acura >> MDX >> HON66 >> OK

Install M2 clamp, and fix the original key on it as prompts.

Decode key >> Continue

The Dolphin XP005 Machine starts coding key…

Wait until coding completed.

Take out the key to replace a key blank to fixed it on.

Go to Key Tool Max,

Cutting key >> Continue

Dolphin XP005 machine starts to cut the key…

One side cutting is finished.

Turn over the key blank to cut the other side.

Just repeat operations as before.

…

Okay, finally key cutting is done.

Look at that new key, it matches perfectly, same as the original one.

It can open the car door.

Completed!

Xhorse Key Tool Plus Program Key to Honda CRV 2020

 Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus can add a smart key for Honda CR-V 2020 by OBD successfully. Following is a quick demonstration.

Using a Honda working key and a new Remote Key, ID47- 433 Mhz.

Connect VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad with OBD, press

Immo programming >> Honda >> Select by type >> Smart key system 2 >> Start programming >> Add a smart key

Simply follow the instructions to operate:

Turn off ignition switch.

Switch ignition on.

Confirm key number:2 , press “OK”.

Take all smart keys out of the car.

Put a programmed smart key inside the car.

Take all smart key out of the car.

Put the new smart keys in the car.

Turn off ignition switch.

Switch ignition on.

Turn off ignition switch.

Switch ignition on.

Whether indicator light is out? Yes

Turn off ignition switch.

Switch ignition on.

Turn off ignition switch.

Switch ignition on.

Key number is 3 now, press “OK”.

Smart keys registration completed!

Test the new key, it can work normally.
