Program 2023 Chevrolet Camaro Smart Key by VVDI Key Tool Max Pro

This is 2023 Chevrolet Camaro, today I’m gonna use Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max PRO to program a new smart key for this car. The procedure is simple in 2 steps. Here I have the original key and new key, so let’s get start.

Procedure:

Step1. Read Password

Go to IMMO Programming- Chevrolet- Read Pin Code- Type 4 (BCM)

It is smart key, press Start button once.
Confirm VIN

Key Tool Max PRO shows the password: 7539

Read password successfully.

Step2. Add Key

Immo programming >> Chevrolet >> Read PIN code >> Type 4(BCM) >> United States Area >> Camaro >> 2020-2021 >> Smart keys programming >> Start execution >> Add a key

Take keys out of car, place the smart key to be programmed into key slot.

Please enter 4-digit authorizatio code: 7539

Configuring system,
Wait about 10 minutes

Detects keys 2

Press Start button
Ready for key 3

Configuring system
Add key with vvdi key tool max pro successfully.

Turn off the ignition switch.
Click and hold start button for 9 seconds.

Release the button, then click OK to continue.
Click and hold start button to turn on the ignition.
Turn off the ignition switch.

Step on the brake and press the Start to start engine.

Program key is completed.

Test the new key.

Will VVDI Key Tool Max Pro Add Peugeot Marelli ID48 Key

 Question:

Will Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max Pro Add a Key to my Peugeot Boxer 2.2 2009 with magneti marelli immo?

Yes, key tool max pro will add a spare key to Peugeot Citroen ID48 with Marelli IMMO system.

Go to IMMO system (Marelli 70F3238 + 95320 ID48) function.

Supports read eeprom, write eeprom, make dealer key, key programming, adapt remote key and renew remote.

If need to add a new key, follow steps below to finish key programming.

FYI:

If your car has id46 transponder then no problem for you, can use precoded transponder and program in car via diagnostic device but if is immo3 with id48 than you need special precoded id48 chip from vin from dealer or need make transponder with key maker from dump and need rewrite new dump which will be produce during transponder programing. in this mean the transponder is ready to start car.

If all keys lost, you need to perform all these steps.

Step 1: Read EEPROM data
Step 2: Generate emergency key
Step 3: Add keys

Here just add a spare key, so choose Adding Keys.

Select Clear smart keys.
Turn the ignition to ON position.

Xhorse FT OBD Tool detects that 1 key was registered.

Touch the ignition with a registered key within 30s.

Erase key successfully.

Select Add smart keys
Turn the ignition to ON position.
Keep the ignition switch with a registered key with the marked surface within 30s.

Key detected. prgramming…
Keep the key touching the igntion switch.

Register a new key successfully.

Test the new key and remote control.

How to do Xhorse Key Tool Max Pro Self Test

 If your Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max pro fails to start communication with vehicle and asks to check if the OBD wiring is normal, follow guide below to do a device self test.

VVDI Key Tool Max Pro Self Test

In main menu select IMMO Programming

Select More Functions

Press Device Test

Select K-line Test

Short Connect PIN7 and PIN15 with the OBD connector.

If Key Tool Max Pro says the test failed, there is something wrong with the device. You may need to send it back for repair.

VVDI Key Tool Max Pro Firmware Update Stuck Solution

 Problem:

Brand new xhorse vvdi key tool max pro just going through the set up. Been stuck on this screen for 20 mins. Any suggestions?

Solution:

Network issue.

Get a faster internet connection or use WiFi hotspot.

Or turn it off, and downloaded again. It works out just fine.
