How to Calculate VAG MLB IMMO Data by VVDI MLB Tool

 Xhorse VVDI MLB Tool is a newly launched MLB programmer to add spare key to VW, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini etc. The MLB-Tool itself is used to calculate MLB immo data online. You have to use VVDI2 or VVDI Key Tool Plus with the MLB Tool to program keys.

How to use VVDI MLB Tool with VVDI2/VVDI Key Tool Plus?

Main steps:

1.Read key information 

Make sure your vvdi2 has VV-02 VAG IMMO5 and VV-05 MQB licence activated.

Run VVDI2 or Key Tool plus, go to  Main menu->Key Programming->MLB key programming

Read vehicle information

2.Calculate IMMO Data with VVDI MLB Tool 

Step 1: Connect the MLB Tool adapter to the PC via a USB cable (No Need to use OTG adapter)

Place the original key on the sensing area of the MLB device. and run the MLB software.
Put the original key on the sensing area for detection.

Step 2:
Follow the software’s tips to confirm that the key type is supported.
Then remove the shell of the original key, take out the PCB and perform the relevant welding operation following the instructions.
After the welding is completed, plug the welding harness into the VVDI MLB tool adapter, at the same time, place the key in the center of the sensing area.

Step 3:
Select “Collect Key Data” in the software to collect and calculate the data online

If need to use the original key ID, first read the vehicle information to get the ID and then use the Modify Key ID function to change ID.

NOTE 1: If original key ID is FFFFFFF, you can change ID only once.

3.Generate dealer key

Select Generate a dealer key

Load MLB immo data saved to generate dealer key

Xhorse Multi Prog Read and Write Simos PCR 2.1

 Xhorse Multi Prog new user feedback:

Successfully read VAG Simos pcr2.1 ECU on bench.

Last time failed with this Ecu, and I noticed a issue with multi prog power adapter.
That 4 amps charger is fully induction (a/c noise in out put) once connect my usb cable to pc, mouse pad also stock due to multi prog SMPS noise.
Just connect with my old Power supply and everything works.
That ecu already bench read by fc200 so there’s no need unlock.

Checksum by multiprog.

I didn’t unlock anything …I just read flash in bench the write mod file. It reads full flash data.

pcr2.1 when start read go to 3-4amps in sec.

VVDI Key Tool Plus Program 2019 Peugeot 2008 Key via XM38

 This is a tutorial on how to add a 2019 Peugeot 3008 proximity key with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus by OBD. Please learn the procedure below step by step.

Tools Required

Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus

XM38 Smart Key or XZPG00EN Special Smart Key for Peugeot Citroen DS 

Battery Maintainer

1. Use a maintainer to keep the battery stable.
2. Connect VVDI Key Tool Plus to the OBD port of the vehicle.

Operation

Remote program >> Europe >> Peugeot >> 3008 >> 3008(2016+) Remote FSK ID4A >> Generate

Writing data, please wait…

Burn success.

IMMO programming >> Europe >> Peugeot >> Password reading >> Type 3 CAN(adding) >> Start programming >> Read password

Please make sure ignition switch is at OFF status.

Switch ignition off and wait for 5s, then switch on, keep repeating this process.

Password has been read out.

Take note of the password. You’ll need it afterwards.

Select by model >> Peugeot >> 3008 >> With smart >> Start programming >> Start keys programming

Please turn on double flash lamps(security warning light).

Note: the wrong password will be forbidden to match!

Please enter the password

Place the wanted programming smart key into sensing coil

(In the smart key slot inside the glove box under start button or at the key sign at the bottom left of steering wheel)

Note: If there is a key that can start the car, insert the key first.

Current key match successfully.

Whether to continue to match next one? Yes.

Please remove the smart key, put the next wanted programming smart key into the sensing coil position.

Program complete!

Start the vehicle after each key performs the following operations:

1. Insert the smart key to the card slot.
2. Switch ignition to ON(do not start the car) and wait for 3s then switch off, then remove the smart key and click LOCK button for 5s…

Note: If the remote still can not use after performing the above operations, try the following operations:

1. Remove the smart key, switch ignition on for 3s then switch off, then click LOCK button for 5s.
2. Leave the key near the induction coil inside the car, close the door, and wait for 30 minutes.

Test the new key, it can work.

Xhorse MQB Adapter Write Error 00 Solution

 Problem:

Tried to read VAG MQB D70F3532 cluster with xhorse vvdi prog and MQB solder free adapter, read works, write does not. Software says write error (00). Any solution?

Solution:

1.Make sure your vvdi prog software is up-to-date.

2. If reads ok, write does not, use a hot gun to heat the chip with a temperature 200 degrees (Do not exceed 350 degrees).

3. If still fails, then use cut pin method to read/write this cluster.
