How to Fix Xhorse Audi BCM2 ‘Adapter is Not Connected’

 Problem:

I was working on an audi A5 all keys lost. I tried to read bcm2 with my vvdi key tool plus and soldering free adapter but key tool plus keeps telling me that failed to connect with the adapter. I correctly connected the adapter with DB15 cable. Don’t know why KTP still can’t connect to the adapter.

It’s my first time using bcm2 adapter with Keytool plus. I was able to read the bcm2 with same adapter but with the vvdi prog.

Solution:

1). 

Check if the adapter is connected to the board properly.
If you look at where the pogos are supposed to go, line them up first before putting the side clips on it will work.

If check all the pin connections and they all good. The adapter is right. Try to update vvdi key tool plus software/firmware to latest version.

We had a customer solve this error by updating the software to V1.8.0 and everything works.

3). If still not working, contact vvdishop.com customer service to reach technical support from xhorse engineer directly.

Xhorse Dolphin Device Not Found Win10 Solution

 This is the solution to fix Xhorse Upgrade Kit Dolphin XP005“Select device not found, please try to replug device” error on Windows 10. If you have the same error when connecting Xhorse Key Cutting Machine to PC via USB cable, follow below steps to solve it.

Solution

You just have to reset the PC, solved in 2 minutes.

System Settings >> Reset This PC >> Restart Now >> Troubleshoot >> Advanced Options >> Startup Settings >> Restart >> Disable driver signature enforcement

After the restart, you can now find the device and go on update.

The error was fixed!

VW Tiguan NEC24C64 Change Mileage with Xhorse MM-007

 Here with this tool it works- Xhorse Iscancar VAG MM-007. Swap cluster (adjust the odometer) on VW Tiguan 2.0TSI 4motion DSG7 3D cluster 1104 successfully.

Change KM with VAG MM-007

Original Odometer: 14625km

Desired Odometer: 10000km

How-to:

Connect VAG MM-007 with vehicle and turn on the scanner

Go to Main menu-> Special Function- > KM Calibration- > Dashboard->choose cluster type NEC+24C64 (2014.06- VW Skoda Seat)- >Tiguan 2014

Xhorse VAG MM-007 will detect original mileage. It is very similar to the original KM

Input new km you desired and press OK

Choose login method 1
The instrument cluster turns black, it is normal. It will be reset when correct mileage is completed.

Write new KM successfully.

Xhorse VVDI2 Adds 2000 VW Beelte Key by Super Chip

 These old beetles can be a real pain to do. This is a 2000 VW Beetle, Xhorse VVDI2 VAG read EEPROM via OBDII, clone out key to VVDI super chip XT27. The procedure is the same to 1998 to 2007 VW Beetle with Megamos 48 transponder.

Go to Special Function– K-line Instrument/Immo Box, Read EEPROM via OBD
