Problem:
I am trying to clone 2016 VW Passat I have points but am getting this error with the xhorse vvdi key tool max.
Error: 5000, please use the binding account of the current device for 48(96 bit) Calculation.
Solution:
You have to link your xhorse key tool with your existing Xhorse account.
You have to log in with the server.
Go to your account page and bind the device. Takes no time at all.
Go to Device Information->Combine Device.
Problem solved.
Xhorse VVDI PROG + VVDI2 is able to read & decrypt 2016 Volkswagen Polo MQB locked D70F35xx immo data on bench. Need to activate VAG MQB48 License and disassemble MQB module from vehicle for pin lifting.
Following are the quick steps.
Step1. Read Data via VVDI PROG
Lift FVDD PIN from PCB according wiring diagram
Connect MQB board to VVDI PROG for reading.
Save the immo data file.
Step2. Decrypt Locked Data via VVDI2
Connect MQB board to VVDI2.
VW >> Key Learn >> MQB platform instrument immobilizer >> instrument with locked NEC35xx(MQB48, VDO/JCI) >> Load file >> Decode immodata >> Yes >> Selected immo data file read by VVDI PROG

Press “OK” to save immo data file.
As we can see, immo data like VIN, CS, PIN, MAC & keys have been read out. It’s unlocked now and can be used for key adding or all keys lost.
Problem:
I was trying to clone a Ford key because their key was busted up so they can get it in and do a couple of new keys. But for some reason my xhorse vvdi key tool max wouldn’t clone them it’s done it before I just updated is it something in the new updates that should be fixed. This was on a 2008 F-150 You can see the information I pulled and The answer I got from the machine.
Solution:
83 chip ford not possible to clone.
80bit chip, This specific key can’t be cloned. Has to be generated
You can generate a 83 chip ford with vvdi super chip with vvdi and go to the car and program it with tool via obd2 is a simple process it won’t ask for pincode just go open ignition with new unprogramed key and add a key.
How to decode and copy Toyota 8A chip key with xhorse vvdi mini key tool.
Model example: Toyota Fortuner 2017
Device used: vvdi mini key tool, vvdi super chip
In mini key tool, select Transponder Clone
Put original key into induction coil
Identify original key information
8A transponder, cloneable.
Press Clone->Start Clone
Input chip to be copied, better super chip
Start Toyota H online calculation.
Copy 8A chip key successfully.
Here are the tips to cut shoulder stop keys on the Xhorse Condor or Dolphin key cutting machines.
Definitely easier to use it than to eyeball it. We are going to show you how to use the shoulder stop with it.
The shoulder stop has a little lip on it and that little lip actually fits into that groove and that actually acts as your shoulder stop.
We are doing a duplication for the bike.
Let’s grab the vvdi key tool max. We are already connected.
Go to All Keys Lost->Yamaha, put code A7354 and you need the internet to actually use the code search on it.
Pulls it up tells us M1 clamp shoulder align and 2 4 3 1 3 1 4 so let’s the correct bitting on there.
Our jaw clamped in there, grab the shoulder stop here.
Fit it into a little groove here, you just simply slide the key and push the shoulder stop up.
You just push the key until you know hit the shoulder stop.
Clamp it in it just takes the guesswork out of it here you don’t have to eyeball it.
basically, you’re going to do it again as you can see so you got your shoulder stop in the groove here and you just slide the key until it until it hits the shoulder stop and then just clamp it
in and then i’m going to put this back on my little magnet up here tightens my grub screw and these magnets on top of the machine work really really well.
Then now we’re all ready to cut the key here. Just go ahead and uh hit cutting key. The machine will do its thing here.
We got the key, we’ll just loosen the grub screw here pull the key out and turn on the bike.
The key works perfectly.
