Problem:
Tried to add a smart key on a European Toyota RAV4 2020 with Xhorse XM38. I can read eeprom with vvdi key tool plus, erase all old keys, OEM key remains, and fully functional.
I have created, 8A smart. Rav4 0410 AA. ID8A.
And adjusted frequenting. I can add this, new xm38, Remote works, and push start button with key, car starts. No keyless entry, and no keyless go.
How to fix it?
Solution:
It’s a dual frequency. In the USA market early smart 312.35/314.35 MHz. If it takes and something is not working correctly proximity or remote flip the frequency 314.35/312.035 that makes all work. Early 312.35/314.35 later 314.35/312.35 and then first generation 314.35 ASK followed by 314.35 FSK.
Try it with dual freq (433 something/413 something) if there such thing in the remote generating menu. If it’s working the trunk button will be dead you must manually change the remothe config in the remote generation menu. There will be the correct value in the menu something 0B or similar for the trunk.
User feedback:
Tried total of 4 dual 433 options.
And of course always the last that worked.
It is a Landrover Discovery 2013. Here we show how to read EDC17CP11 ECU and turn immo off with xhorse multi prog programmer.
With multi prog you can enter Bosch number to query ECU type. It is a Bosch EDC17CP11 ECU.
In software, select Land rover Bosch EDC17CP11 (Land rover-Discovery)
Check wiring diagram
Connect Multi prog with ECU follow the pinout.
Then read and save INT eeprom.
Read and save INT flash
Read ID ok, read flash ok
Read and save EXT flash.
Xhorse Multi-prog can do some MED17 and EDC17 IMMO Off but not all ECUs.
Go to Tool->Turn off the IMMO (IMMO Off).
If you search EDC17CP11 there is no ECU in the list.
It is a TC1796, so we try to use the TC179x that means any number can do that.
Load EXT flash
After load EXT flash, Press Turn off the IMMO
Press OK to generate immo off file.
Successfully generate immo file. Save the immo off file.
Xhorse VVDI Prog Tesla Model 3 MCU2 Hack- customer solution.
How to use VVDI Prog to Enable paid options by Tesla for Free such like free supercharging , free FSD and much more.
This method cannot be changed by Tesla.
Once you change config by this way, the car is 100% continue work with all updates.
After changes have been made to the dump and written to the car, you should write correction to save the changes from update.
Solder and bridge the following resistor on the board of MCU2 Intel.
R81, R82, R83, R85, R90
Jtag connection pinout
Problem:
I managed to read this dash VW Crafter 2019 MQB49/5C and saved the dump by Xhorse Multiprog, but when I load it to VVDI2 it can not decode immodata. I want to add a key to the car.
Any idea where is the problem?
Solution:
Only 5A cluster for immo data decoding
5C only for KM. Cannot do immo data.
Mqb 49 is not decoded by any machine.
VVI2 will add key MQB 49 5C but still need to get sync data. It cannot do MQB 49 5C all keys lost.

This is a tutorial on how to solve BMW CAS/FEM/BDC version & coding loss issue with Xhorse VVDI BIMTool Pro. You can refer to the solution in this article if you’ve met the following problems:
Solution
Here’s taking FEM module as an example.
When the SWFL, CANFD coding and key position info are missing, we can resolve these issues using BIM TOOL or BIMTool Pro.

Connect VVDI BIM TOOL, then open software, select
Fxx/Gxx Program/Code >> Auto detect >> Connect car

Vehicle programming >> 40-FEM[FEM_BODY] >> Calculate Programming File
Detected programming file which calculated success for this vehicle.
Press YES to load the calculated programming file directly.
Press NO to calculate the programming file again.
Calculate programming file require 1-5 minutes.
Click YES.
Noted the “Target istufen lev” should be the same as the “Shipment date”.

The gray area indicates the module’s current version information.
The orange area indicates the calculated programmable version information.
Click “Programming” to proceed.
Note: After programming is completed, read the vehicle’s DTCs and clear them.

After clearing the DTCs, process “FEM/BDC Key Learn >> Get Key Info”.
You can see the coding and key position info have been restored.
