Tips to Program Kia Hyundai 8A Smart Key with Xhorse Remote

 Here comes the user working experience on programming the Xhorse universal smart key on the Hyundai/Kia 8A chip type smart key system:

For example, it’s a 2023 Kia Picanto.

Some users had issue programming A LOT of xhorse Kia/Hyundai remotes. Removing the battery made a difference because I’ve never removed the battery before until yesterday when I checked feedback and saw a suggestion about it.

Take the battery out of the remote before putting it on the start button.

Xhorse VVDI2 Failed to Read XSCH01EN Transponder?

 Problem:

It’s an XHORSE XSCH01EN Chrysler style XM38 smart remote. VVDI2 won’t record the id63 for Ford, is it a problem with the key or something else, when I record the id63 the key is 46 after recording and won’t change to id63 d4. I also have a mini key tool, but I can’t do the same with 4d.

Solution:

You cannot generate a transponder using the Xhorse smart remote.

Go to Prepare Remote/Proximity function to generate the remote then program remote.

Xhorse Condor Motor Test Error 55 Solution

 Here comes the solution to Xhorse Condor XC-Mini Plus or Condor II movement abnormal and error code 55 problem.

Phenomenon: There is an abnormal noise when the X/Y/Z axis self checks and moves after Condor machine is turned on, Or there is abnormal noise when one of the X/Y/Z axis moves during the process of decoding or cutting keys;

Solution: Go to device self test – motor measurement- perform X/Y/Z motor testing separately (Refer to the following picture for the entry method)

Normal situation: ‘OK’ will be displayed at the bottom of the test interface, as shown in the picture;

Fault situation: A certain axis at the bottom of the interface will display ‘Bad’, indicating that there is a fault with this axis and the corresponding sensor needs to be replaced,

As indicated by the arrow on the right, it represents that there is a fault in the current Y-axis and the Y-axis sensor needs to be replaced;

Check

picture 1 shows the positions of Z-axis and Y-axis sensors;

picture 2 shows the appearance of the old sensor;

picture 3 shows the appearance of the new sensor.

If it is a fault with the X-axis sensor, please contact technical support as the steps for replacing the X-axis sensor are quite complicated.
