Here we are going to show how to transfer file from USB drive to Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus. After transmission, we can read the file to make dealer key directly.
Step1. Copy from USB to KTP
Use the Xhorse VVDI MLB Tool USB cable to connect USB & device.
Settings >> Storage >> SMI USB drive >> Long press USB file >> More >> Copy to device
*You must find the correct Xhorse folder:
com.xhorse.assembly\share\BMW\CAS123\test
Click “Copy”.
Now we’ve successfully copy the file.
Step2. Read USB File
Let’s go back to have a check.
Immo data tool >> Opel >> IMMO – 1 >> 68HC05 >> Start >> Selected the copied file
We can see there are 2 keys to make dealer key. One is the copied file.
If the file was read with failed and Key Tool Plus says: “This file is not supported by current module!”
You may rename the file like this:
“CAS4+[5M48H]-BACKUP(WELD)-D-FLASH-20240928”.BIN
Now the file can be successfully read out.
Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus program Peugeot Landtrek 4×4 pickup ID4A smart key successfully.
Generate xhorse universal XM38 smart key under this option (Kaicheng F70 ID4A, Chinese brand) with mini key tool.
Then read pin code and program key with xhorse vvdi key tool plus.

How to find the key for 2023 Toyota Corolla Push with vvdi key tool max and XM38 Toyota?
Here is the clue.
Successfully generated Xhorse XM38 key with key tool max.
Use the Corolla 2561/1320 ID4A FCC ID HYQ14FBW option.
It works to lock and unlock the car, we modify the frequencies.
Trunk should be 09

Lock 01
Unlock 02
Frequencies should be like that. This is a perfect key. The key works just flawlessly. It starts the car.

Here comes the solution to Xhorse multi prog BMW CAS3 chip crack failed problem.
Problem 1:
Read CAS3 0L15Y with multi prog, it says chip crack failed and asks to increase the voltage.
Problem 2:
Read and write a CAS3 from BMW 116 2007 model with multi prog…….. finally it manage to read and write (to remove ELV) but with problems. It starts reading the eeprom and it read it just fine, the tool works great with this… but when i start to read the flash, the tool couldn’t read it and suggested me to increase the voltage, I increase the voltage and the half of my attempt to read the mcu the multi prog couldn’t do it.
Solution:
Bad connections. You need to clean off the coating bmw put on the pcb board and then it will work.
You will get chip crack error if a pin isn’t making a perfect connection. You can use a special pen that removes the coating on it.
Multi prog reads with no problem. Do not connect XCLS screen and check connections one of the pins is incorrectly marked in the xhorse description.
If pin is correct, then try to increase voltage to 4-5V, try again.
You can also use the XDNP11GL CAS3 solder free adapter.
Feedback:
Done, one pin has bad connection. Redo every solder.
After reconnecting all needles tried again and succeeded.

Connect Multi-prog with ECU following the pinout.
Read INT eeprom
Read INT flash
Back up data successfully.
We are going to do IMMO OFF.
Upload the modified IMMO OFF file and write flash.
Multi prog will ask you to do a checksum correction.
Checksum calculation successfully.
Write flash until finished.
