Problem:
I need to program key for my Toyota RAV 4 2016, lost all keys using xhorse vvdi mini obd tool and 8A non-smart key adapter. But the app says the adapter was bound to other devices. Any solution?
Solution:
8A adapter can only be bound to 1 xhorse device (key tool max pro, vvdi2, key tool plus or vvdi mini obd tool).
Must use the adapter with the device already combined.
For example, if bind 8A control box adapter with vvdi2, you cannot use it with mini obd tool.

Insert key to be added and turn the ignition on
Enter pin code to proceed

How to clone 2021 Toyota Camry 8A Transponder using Xhorse vvdi key tool max.
It is a 2021 Toyota Camry we are going to go ahead and clone the customer’s key.
We’re going to go to transponder clone and reset transponder.
We have inserted a vvdi super chip in our key.
Make sure that you are connected to Wi-Fi hotspot or any type of Internet.
There’s our new key with our super chip inside there’s our customer program key.
Make sure that it’s pointing down okay and the chip is in a readable position.
Put the original key, take out the original car key, then we’re going to go ahead and put the super chip key in.
Detecting super chip, waiting just take out the key.
It’s calculating data. complete check it out. Key goes in emergency light stays off car turns on.
For the newer 8A transponder mobilizer chip Vehicles 2021 and over, you will require a password calculation from NASTF Techstream or a third-party.
You would have to read the set of codes that they send you and it’s three codes and you will send it to a third party they will calculate the password for you and send it to you when you’re adding a key.
If it is all keys lost, you will need to request two passwords to reset the ECU.
You need one password to reset ECU and then to add a key after the immo ECU is resetted that’s that’s another password.
So this immo system is kind of like a rolling code function where you read the three codes.
You send it to the person that’s going to calculate it for you he sends you the password and you go ahead and add a key or reset the ECU.
If you’re doing all keys lost you want to request two passwords so you read the codes with your with your programmer through the OBD.
You read the data and you send it to the third party and they send the password back. That’s how it works.
It’s like a rolling code function every time it gives you different data on there so you need to be on it precise and there then and there send him the data so he can
calculate your password for you and you’re able to add a key or reset the IMMO or ECU.
If you have the VVDI Key Tool Max you can now clone it and go aroud that function where you need NASTFA for techstream to program a key.
All you got to do is just clone it and then with your programmer you’re able to program the remote side.
There’s two parts you program the transponder and then you program the remote.
I usually clone the transponder and I’ll just program the remote with my programmer.
That’s how I go bypass the NASTF techstream function that I need to do.
