Place the key in the device identification area and click OK for identification.

Read key ID and info. The key is locked.

Remove key shell and take out PCB.

Check wiring diagram. Need to remove capacitors.

Then solder wires to the key board.

Place the key in the VVDI MLB Tool identification area and click OK for identification again.

Select Collect key data.

Choose Collect original keys- points deduction. The calculation will deduct 200 points.

How to Solve Xhorse Multi Prog Not Connect to the Device Error?

Problem:

Trying to read a Mercedes W906 9S12DT256 with xhorse multi prog, it said not connect to the device and will not read mcu. Any advice?

Solution:

First of all check the connection. If the connection is fine, it can be driver issue.

Win7 system have to install driver manually.

There is a ‘usb_driver ‘ folder in multi-prog software folder.

Install USB driver according to your system (32 bit or 64 bit).

Then choose device type as USB Serial (CDC), press Install Driver

Check computer device manager see if USB driver is installed properly.

Run multi prog software again.

Program FIAT 500 2008-2017 ID46 Key with VVDI Key Tool Max Pro

Today I’m gonna show how to add a new smart key for 2009 FIAT500 first version with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max PRO by OBD.

Turn ignition on.

Connect VVDI Key Tool Max PRO to car OBD port.

Immo programming >> FIAT >> Select by area >> European area >> 500 >> Flip-key(2008-2017) >> IMMO system(DELPHI 93C86_ID46) >> Start programming >> Type 1(93C86) >> Display immo information(PIN, Key ID)

Here we can check the password: 27665

Press “Make dealer key”

Please put the key or blank 46 chip in the sensing coil of the Key Tool Max PRO and keep it still, because some non-original key position will be different.

Press OK.

Generating dealer key, please wait…

Generate dealer key successfully.

Press “Key programming”.

All keys that can start the vehicle must be programmed, keys that are not programmed will be scrapped(cannot be programmed again).

The new key to be programmed must be a dealer key!

Press Yes to continue.

Please enter a 5-digit security code: 27665

Here Key Tool Max PRO will automatically enter it.

Switch ignition on.

Current key number: 2

Insert the wanted programming key, switch ignition on.

Programmed successfully.

Press Yes to program next one.

Remove the current key, then insert the key to be matched and turn on ignition!

Press No to continue.

Turn the ignition off.

Switch ignition on.
