Read Benz Delphi CRD3.10 ECU with Xhorse Multi Prog

 One of our customers has managed to read Mercedes Delphi CRD3.10 ECU with Xhorse Multi Prog.

Select MB Delphi CRD3x.x TC1797 protocol.

Boot is a different pinout. If your ECU is on service mode you need read in boot mode.

Pay attention to 2 resistors.  2x 1k resistor.

Multi prog will show you wiring diagram.

How to Read 95320 EEPROM with Xhorse Multi Prog and Clip Adapter

 This is a Jeep control board with M95320 eeprom chip. We will show how to read this chip using Xhorse Multi Prog without laptop and PC software.

Connect M95320 EEPROM IC chip and Multiprog via a goog 8-pin clip adapter.

In multi prog, select Chip operation->M95XXX->M95320->Status

Read chip.

Read eeprom successfully. Then save data.

You can see file in Files folder.

You can save it to local to this or you can share it with you are connected to a Wi-Fi.

How to Solve Xhorse Multi Prog BMW CAS3 Chip Crack Failed?

 Here comes the solution to Xhorse multi prog BMW CAS3 chip crack failed problem.

Problem 1:

Read CAS3 0L15Y with multi prog, it says chip crack failed and asks to increase the voltage.

Problem 2:

Read and write a CAS3 from BMW 116 2007 model with multi prog…….. finally it manage to read and write (to remove ELV) but with problems. It starts reading the eeprom and it read it just fine,  the tool works great with this… but when i start to read the flash, the tool couldn’t read it and suggested me to increase the voltage, I increase the voltage and the half of my attempt to read the mcu the multi prog couldn’t do it.

Solution:

Bad connections. You need to clean off the coating bmw put on the pcb board and then it will work.

You will get chip crack error if a pin isn’t making a perfect connection. You can use a special pen that removes the coating on it.

Multi prog reads with no problem. Do not connect XCLS screen and check connections one of the pins is incorrectly marked in the xhorse description.

If pin is correct, then try to increase voltage to 4-5V, try again.

You can also use the XDNP11GL CAS3 solder free adapter.

Feedback:

Done, one pin has bad connection. Redo every solder.

After reconnecting all needles tried again and succeeded.

Xhorse Multi prog Hyundai MEG17.9.13 IMMO OFF

 Xhorse Multi Prog read and write Hyundai KEFICO MEG17.9.13 ECU on bench successfully.

Select Hyundai->Kia MEG17.9.13

Check wiring diagram

Connect Multi-prog with ECU following the pinout.

Read INT eeprom

Read INT flash

Back up data successfully.

We are going to do IMMO OFF.

Upload the modified IMMO OFF file and write flash.

Multi prog will ask you to do a checksum correction.

Checksum calculation successfully.

Write flash until finished.

How to Solve Xhorse Multi Prog Not Connect to the Device Error?

Problem:

Trying to read a Mercedes W906 9S12DT256 with xhorse multi prog, it said not connect to the device and will not read mcu. Any advice?

Solution:

First of all check the connection. If the connection is fine, it can be driver issue.

Win7 system have to install driver manually.

There is a ‘usb_driver ‘ folder in multi-prog software folder.

Install USB driver according to your system (32 bit or 64 bit).

Then choose device type as USB Serial (CDC), press Install Driver

Check computer device manager see if USB driver is installed properly.

Run multi prog software again.
