VW Passat B8 EDC17C74 ECU IMMO OFF with Xhorse Multi Prog

Here we will show how to read, write and disable the immobilizer (IMMO off) on the VW Passat B8 Bosch EDC17C74 ECU using the Xhorse Multi Prog programmer.

Quick search EDC17C74 ECU. Check wiring diagram and connect ECU with multi prog via ECU adapter.
Read int flash and save data.

Read INT eeprom and save.

Go to Tool tab- Turn off the IMMO function.

Load int eeprom we have backed up.
Hit Turn off the IMMO.

Generate IMMO OFF file successfully. Save immo off file.

You can also compare the original eeprom and immo off eeprom data.
Write the IMMO OFF data back to the eeprom with multi prog.
