Remove kessy module, read 93C86 eeprom with vvdi prog

With Xhorse Vvdi2 go under VW immo4 you will see A8 last option (Immo Kessy- Audi A8, VW Touareg, VW Phaeton, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Continental 93C86) load the eeprom file you will get the CS and the pin.

Get pin. Program virgin key with login pin with vvdi2.

Make a dealer remote and connect the Vvdi2 to the car and learn the key (only if your chip is ID46).

If you try to open to get cs says unknown version. You should desolder and read again. Always de solder it just because the crystal.

Read 93C86 eeprom with vvdi prog, better solder following the wiring diagram.

Xhorse EEPROM clip will read but when loading to VVDI2 will say wrong file version.   Much better to desolder chip.

The module is a Siemens so you read the 93C86. If it is a Continental then you solder the wires on the back. Read out of circuit, you don’t want to corrupt the data. The chip is a 46 chip. You can clone out using a xhorse super chip xt27, write a file back using a 7936 or read the file and load into VVDI2 to program OBD.

VVDI Prog Range Rover 06 CIM All FF Solution

 Problem:

2006 rang rover CIM. I was able to read using xhorse vvdi prog but file is all FF. All FF up and down. Any idea How I can repair, please?

Solution:

Check your connections.

there’s a small resistor you need to take off when you do it with vvdi prog.

make sure you read the instructions correctly.

put it on the soldering point.

1. Read via Solder Free Adapters + VVDI Key Tool Plus

Tools Required:

VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad

XDNP11GL CAS3/CAS3+ Adapter

Key Tool Plus Cable

CAS3 module

First of all, install the BMW adapter. Very easy, only to fix all positioning pins, then attach the adapter to CAS3.

Connect Key Tool Plus Pad & CAS3 adapter via cable.

Prog >> IMMO >> BMW >> CAS3+(0L15Y) >> Adapter >> Read >> EEPROM >> Begin >> Continue >> OK

Read & save successfully.

2. Read via Solder Free Adapters + VVDI PROG + DB15 Cable

Tools Required:

VVDI PROG

XDNP11GL CAS3/CAS3+ Adapter

XDPGSOGL DB25 DB15 Connector Cable

CAS3 module

Connect VVDI PROG & CAS3/3+ adapter via DB15 cable.

Open VVDI Prog software to select options:

Type: 4-IMMOBILIZER

Brand: BMW

Chip: CAS3+-0L15Y(ADAPTER)

Click “Read ID.

It’s IDC410.

It also reads EEPROM & FLASH successfully.
